We are delighted to announce that we launched the first of our Kids Artroom Lockdown Club at the beginning of this year. These virtual sessions are free, open to all and run weekly on Friday mornings from 10 am to 11 am on Microsoft Teams.
In the first Kids Artroom Lockdown Club session everyone had a go at relief printmaking – or ‘collagraph’ printmaking. This involves taking a print from a collage of materials. The artists used this chance to use up some leftover delivery boxes from Christmas as these were perfect for creating raised shapes to print from.
The next session everyone tried out some paper weaving, and we are always open to new ideas. If there is anything you would like to try – or any materials you need – get in touch and we will see what we can do.
