In our latest virtual sessions, we have been trying out a technique called Quilling. We all worked together to make tools with what we could find around us. After trying out some basic methods to quill new shapes, everyone used these shapes to create their collage, with some stunning results!
After experimenting in creating sculptures with our homemade paper clay, the artists joining the Oaks Virtual Artroom applied surface decoration to their pieces in our latest sessions. Many chose to try out the watercolour paints available in the Art Packs. We found the paper clay took the colour well, and each artist’s design brought the sculptures to life! It was great to see the colourful abstract images of flowers and landscapes growing as the hour passed.
