This exhibition is the culmination of the 12-week project at Bonnymuir Green Community Trust. It showcases the work created by artists who joined Artroom, in collaboration with Healthy Minds. The sessions were run for people who have accessed services at Royal Cornhill Hospital, they were offered materials and support from the Artroom artists, and over the weeks they honed their creative talent and each created a body of work.
Some of the artists in the exhibition are showing their first-ever paintings, others tried different ceramics techniques and glazes. Many took inspiration from the surrounding gardens of flowers, fruit and vegetables, bees and frogs.
Yvette Bathgate, Amy Benzie and Anna Weir are the artroom artists who were involved in this project.
