
Employment Opportunity – Artroom Creative Practitioners (Cover)
Grampian Hospitals Art Trust has an opportunity within their Artroom project. The advertised post is:
Artroom Creative Practitioners (Cover) needed for ad hoc hours across all Artroom projects for annual leave and short notice/illness cover. All Artroom sessions are generally 3 hours each, rate of pay is £23821 pro rata.
GHAT is committed to working with professional artists, creating opportunities for practice and employment. Artroom is a person-centred arts project delivered within a healthcare setting and the community. Artists work with patients in group settings or on a 1-1 basis, using conversation and a range of art books and materials as a guide to begin supporting the participant’s creative journey. Visitors and families are encouraged to participate, often creating work together. GHAT works closely with NHS staff to improve quality of life and wellbeing for the people who engage with the project.

As these posts involve extensive work with vulnerable individuals, it will be necessary to become a member of the PVG scheme before commencing work on this project.
