The Small Gallery, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
This exhibition showcases a selection of posters from The Suttie Art Space exhibition programme from over the last 8 years. These posters reflect the diversity of commissioned artists, curators and art collectives who have created new work for the hospital since the art space’s opening in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Nov 2014.
The diverse range of works exhibited over the years has enabled GHAT to create a unique space which offers calm and respite from a busy medical environment. This flagship arts space is the only purpose-built commissioning art gallery in an acute hospital in the UK.
In total, The Suttie Art Space has exhibited 36 exhibitions and has supported and showcased over 100 artists locally, nationally, and internationally. The exhibition programme has been made possible since by Creative Scotland funding and the continued support from NHS Grampian.
