b. 1940

Educated Glasgow School of Art 1960-64

Working primarily in the mediums of paint, print and photography, Wilson’s work has developed from abstract images to figurative and representational paintings based on events and experiences from his life.  His fascination with the culture and urban landscape of the USA has inspired many of his works.  Often, he paints part of the image from memory, allowing his personal experience of place to emerge in the work.

Wilson has exhibited frequently in his career and his work is owned in many national art collections.

Most recently, he exhibited recent work in a series of exhibitions held in London from 2002-04.
