In 2019 GHAT was asked by the Neurosurgery Department, located at ward 205 in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, to help them with a logo for the North of Scotland Brain and Spine Centre, and design a series of educational posters explaining the history of Neurosurgery in Aberdeen. The information for the posters came from a research project by the University of Aberdeen medical student, Nicola Newall, and contain information on Sir Henry Gray, Mr William Anderson, Sir James Rognvald Learmonth, Mr W Martin Nichols and the current team. Key figures who have played a role in establishing Neurosurgery in Aberdeen over the last 100 years.
GHAT commissioned local Graphic Designer, Adrian Benzie-Reid (Orange-ade Design) to work with the team to create the logo and design the posters. The posters are now on display in the Neurosurgery Department.
The project was completed and installed in November 2020.
