Neil Gall was born in Aberdeen and completed his BA (Hons) at Gray’s School of Art, before then going on to study at Slade School of Art in 1991.
Gall’s work includes a range of mediums – painting, collage, photography, assemblage, drawing and sculpture. Each work is part of a multi-layered process which enriches and changes the viewer’s perception. His best known works are oil paintings which, in their hyper-realistic depiction, paradoxically border on abstraction.
