Kim Rebecca is a painter based in Glasgow, and studied Contemporary Textile Practice at Norwich University College of the Arts (2006-2009). She is drawn to exploring the green spaces that pepper the city and surround it. Her work gives her a chance to study the natural world, and be still among it, observing, listening and experimenting. She is fascinated with birds, graceful beings that live among the treetops, and regularly goes walking and birdwatching which inspires her practice.
