Rowson’s interest lies in objects, bringing them to life through a variety of mediums.  Rowson juxtaposes various techniques from fluid watercolour to detailed pen and ink drawings of architectural subjects.  Through use of strong, meaningful pattern and decoration, the artist suggests a symbolic language with relates to personal poems and gives his work an intriguing ambiguity.

Most recently, the artist exhibited paintings and a new print at Peacock Visual Arts in “Putney Poems” 2015.
