This exhibition takes a look at selected works from the Grampian Hospitals Art Trust Art Collection, and how visitors NHSG sites engage with them. GHAT has over 4000 artworks in the Art Collection, on rotational display across the entirety of NHS Grampian facilities.

Grampian Hospitals Art Trust is a registered charity set up 30 years ago to improve the visual environment in healthcare spaces for the benefit of patients and visitors across the NHS Grampian area. Over 450 artists, mostly from Scotland and in particular the Grampian region, are represented in the GHAT Art Collection which includes work from well known artists such as Joyce Cairns, John Bellany, Alexander Fraser, William Littlejohn, Frances Walker and Sylvia Wishart. There are almost 1500 works displayed across the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary alone!

Items in this exhibition range from exhibition posters, mugs, diaries through to stationery. The artists featured are Harvey Daniels, Gladys McAvoy, Alex Nisbett, Donald Smith and Robert Stephen.
