Flight Over The Summer Isles
The next exhibition in The Dress Circle Bar at His Majesty’s Theatre is ‘Coastline’ by Falkirk based artist Catherine King.
After graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Catherine became a practicing Artist and Lecturer. She has exhibited printmaking and painting widely throughout the UK, in Hong Kong, Japan and Canada. She has had work exhibited often in Society exhibitions : SSA, VAS, PAI and RGI and regularly with Fife Dunfermline Printmakers for whom she is secretary.
Barra Line
Catherine is a currently a part time lecturer in Drawing, Printmaking and Painting at Forthvalley College and has recently been elected President of the Glasgow Society of women Artists and was first prize winner of Pintar Rapido Glasgow. Her practice is varied with themes of Landscape, Human form and endeavour.
‘Coastline’ opens on Mon 15th May with a preview at 6-7.30pm.
