Carla Smith is a contemporary artist currently based in Aberdeen. Having graduated from Gray’s School of Art in 2022, Carla is currently a graduate artist in residence at Peacock and the Worm, Aberdeen where she has been able to focus on developing her printmaking skills over the past year. Alongside printmaking, Carla works across a variety of mediums such as film, ceramics, bookmaking and food. Carla’s practice often circulates around moments of connection, thinking about the ways we can nurture relationships and care for others.
