CREATE > DONATE
The ‘Art in Work’ programme is an opportunity for companies to support the work of Grampian Hospitals Art Trust whilst giving their own employees a chance to explore the value and wellbeing benefits of creativity.
A professional North East artist will host workshops for employees and create a final high quality work of art for the workplace – mural, painting, sculpture or installation.
The programme includes a donation to GHAT which will help support and continue the amazing art services they provide for North East patients like Artroom.
SPONSORSHIP INCLUDES
- Creative workshops for staff
- Final artwork for your building
- Donation to Grampian Hospitals Art Trust
- Friends of GHAT membership for the year
“To be given a terminal prognosis is devastating for both the patient and family. It takes away your future, the opportunity to grow old and grey with your spouse and to watch your children grow and thrive. You lose your independence and sense of self, your purpose and role in life. Yet in the midst of this suffering lies the Artroom, an oasis of positivity and fulfilment providing a different purpose, one of creativity and self expression. It is a place worth investing in. It’s ‘medicine’ for the soul and every bit as vital as drugs and chemotherapy, a life affirming experience that has changed both our lives for the better.” Ken & Siobhan Ross – Artroom Participants
GHAT is an award winning arts and health organisation which exists to enhance the wellbeing and experience of all who spend time in NHS Grampian hospitals, whether patients, visitors or staff. We achieve this by promoting the enjoyment of, and participation in, high quality artistic activity alongside the provision of a sympathetic and pleasing environment.
