Shirron’s work centres on themes of beauty and ugliness, employing pattern and a decorative approach to deal with more challenging subject matters. Her work consists mainly of painting and intricate paper-cut installations. Since graduating from Gray’s School of Art, Shirron has gone on to work as a Lead Artist in Grampian Hospitals Arts Trust’s ArtRoom Project, alongside her own artistic practice.
Shirron’s recent projects include a collaboration with KaSt Dance Company as part of Dancelive 2015.
