
In 2020 Graeme Roger was commissioned by GHAT to lead on the Amplify project and started with the ‘Life After Covid‘ digital artwork and event at the beginning of 2021. He has also been working with the CMU artists and on the Dramatic Convergence project with Aberdeen Performing Arts Youth Theatre and NHS Grampian Archives. Graeme Roger is a visual artist working across film, public art, performance, theatre and video design. All his projects are collaborative in nature with other artists, musicians, directors and the wider community, forming part of Roger & Reid, Ganghut & Wilbird.
Graeme’s previous work includes residencies at Culloden Battlefield & Aden Country Park. He was also a recipient of the Royal Scottish Academy Morton Award for lens-based art as part of Roger & Reid. He has worked as a Video designer in theatre for companies including the National Theatre of Scotland, Mull Theatre, Theatre Hebrides, Eden Court / Open Book Productions and The Big Fat Electric Ceilidh.
Graeme currently works for the Engagement team at Eden Court Theatre as a Producer of film & visual arts projects and since 2009 has led Eden Courts ‘Cashback for Creativity’ program which focuses on providing creative opportunities for young people outwith mainstream education or who face barriers in participation.
