This workshop will start by introducing common Chinese soft brush and ink techniques, before guiding the participants through the fundamental strokes of Chinese calligraphy scripts.

Participants will complete a Chinese calligraphy with ‘Fu’, which means ‘Good luck, good fortune’, as a special message for Chinese New Year and all other occasions.

The final artwork can be attached on doors and windows in their workplace or at home.

This workshop is part of the Amplify projects Creative Mobile Unit which offers free workshops to all NHS Grampian staff.
