GHAT are running 2 courses over 5 weeks on the use of Collage and Ink techniques, in The Suttie Arts Space, ARI. The classes are free for all staff, patients and visitors and all materials are provided.
For times and classes see below:
Julie-Ann Simpson will lead a class where you can learn techniques using collage as a form of image-making. Take inspiration from the current exhibition Terra Nova and use the idea of the polar landscape as a starting point to create fun and exciting artworks.
21st Jan – 25th Feb
Sally Duguid is leading a class where you can learn techniques with inks including wet-on-wet, masking and resists to create engaging images in response to the current exhibition Terra Nova. Using the photographic prints on display as inspiration, this session will focus on minimising the landscape to create abstract images.
Feel free to do the whole course or drop in on the days you are able, and spend as much or as little time as you wish in the space of the hour long class.
No booking is required for either course, but if you would like more information or interested in attending please get in touch by contacting:
