Foresterhill House

The main objective was to select work for a busy meeting room which is frequently used by the staff within the Corporate Communications department.  When we initiated the consultation process, the room was going to be used for a series of interviews at the end of the following month so we had a relatively short turnaround time to complete the project.

A particular highlight from the hang was selecting the Lynsey Ewen canvas, ‘Aura 2’; a bright abstract piece which highlighted the colours from the original stained-glass window, fusing the traditional beauty of the architecture with this vibrant and modern painting.  Throughout we tried to be sympathetic to the building, combining quite traditional pieces, such as the June Chapman botanical prints, and work with a more contemporary look.
