Collection
When GHAT started off in 1985, our ambitions were to put good quality artworks on the walls of the hospitals in and around Aberdeen, and we made sure from that point on that we had the benefit of solid professional advice in selecting and placing these works. This original policy hasn’t changed, and over the years GHAT has built up an impressive collection of over 4000 artworks, mostly by living artists based in Scotland, which are installed in healthcare spaces throughout NHS Grampian.
Major commissions have recently been completed at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospitals and at Roxburghe House in Aberdeen.
