GHAT is seeking to employ a Website Developer to upgrade the Grampian Hospitals Art Trust website. As the first point of contact online the GHAT website is an integral marketing tool, should represent the GHAT brand and act as a means of circulating information about all GHAT projects. GHAT have identified 4 main areas for improvement The word press template tends to restrict the work that can be done with it It is under populated, especially in specific areas, and lacks consistency across all posts. Due to lack of visual information it is not representative of GHAT as a visual arts organisation. The website is not intuitive when navigating The Website Developer will work with GHAT core team to prioritise the following tasks Develop the website to make it more intuitive when navigating Populate the website with up to date information Create a template for uploading information by each Manager to maintain a consistency across all posts. Employment Opportunity – Artroom Supporting Writer Grampian Hospitals Art Trust is looking to employ a supporting writer to work as part of their highly successful Artroom project at Roxburghe House palliative care unit in Aberdeen. The advertised post is for a supporting writer, who will work alongside the current writer at Roxburghe House, as well as with visual artists and clinical staff at the unit. The writer will also be required to help with a range of supporting tasks, such as editing patient work, producing publications, and sharing information about the project with a range of stakeholders. As this post involves extensive work with vulnerable individuals, it will be necessary to become a member of the PVG scheme before commencing work on this project. Initially this post is 15 hours per week over two days. A fee of £11.54 per hour will be paid.
