About GHAT

Grampian Hospitals Art Trust (GHAT) is a registered charity which was launched in 1986 with the main aim of enhancing healthcare spaces throughout Grampian by the provision of art and artworks.  Today GHAT has an impressive collection of over 4,000 works that are installed in hospitals and health care spaces throughout the Aberdeenshire region. 

As well as commissioning artists and installing contemporary artworks within hospitals, GHAT also manages a changing exhibition programme within the Art Gallery, in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.  This unique space allows GHAT to bring diverse and exciting exhibitions directly to the heart of the hospital community.

GHAT is increasingly interested in fostering links between the NHS and the wider community through involvement in art-and-health projects.  We would welcome expressions of interest from artists and groups who would like to discuss the potential for such projects.  If you would like further details or information then please contact:
